Arizona 70.3 Race Recap

It has been about a week since I toed the line for the first official time since CdA 70.3 in 2019 at Ironman Arizona 70.3. This was my first time participating at this race and it was SOOO much fun!!!! I think really what it came down to was just enjoying the fact that I was racing again and racing to my potential ie: not pregnant.

This race was everything that I needed and came at a time in which I needed it the most. It had been a little bit of a rough month with some dark spots in it and racing has always been something that has brought me peace, joy, and a much needed reaffirmation of my own self gratitude and this race did just that. Back in 2013 I jumped into a triathlon in order to find myself again and ever since then it has been the best way for me to bring myself back to whatever it was that I needed in that moment. There is something about pushing yourself to the absolute limit that just brings everything back to perspective.

So with that… here it is my race recap. It isn’t so much about the race but more about the energy that I chose to bring to the day and how that changed the course of the day for me!

CHEERS!!!
